COMMUNITY GARDENS

There are a number of gardens located in the city of Akron that serve as community gardens. Staff, students and adults get an opportunity to maintain these gardens and benefit from their produce.

BACK YARD GARDENS

There are a number of privately owned gardens in the South Akron that we help to organize and maintain. We do provide seeds and advice to our community members.

THE CHILDREN'S GARDEN

Our children's garden is located very near our office, which allows us to maintain it regularly and keep its facility more current. This garden features a dinosaur garden, a butterfly garden, a water garden, a praying mantis garden, a vegetable garden, a canal boat and a bird sanctuary.

FUTURE GARDENS

We are always looking for a way to increase the number of programs and projects that we offer. Everyday we are looking for new ideas and locations for our gardens. The hunt for the next garden never ends!

KENMORE GARDENS

There are several gardens located on South Main Street and in the Kenmore area. Each of these gardens provides multiple opportunities for children and adults to work with flowers, vegetables and herbs.
